Don't you love When I call your name? Don't you smile Watching me do the same?
on a night that felt borrowed from a dream
Under the moonlight I gazed upon her face. Her eyes lit up like a Moon in dark space.
A celestial maiden She appeared to me. Wind blew her hair Like waves of a raging sea.
I stroked her cheeks With a handful of love. Heart pulsed in rhythm To the stars up above.
Our glittering shadows Flickered on the water. Our fingers swiftly Entangled into one another's.
on all the small moments, and the one big word for them
I love it most When our eyes talk. Silence yet so talkative We just continue to walk.
I love it most When you're around me. With everything turning still You are all I see.
I love it most When you scold me in brawl. Anger hardly suits you I say nothing at all.
I love it most When your hands are in mine. A feeling so strong and sacred Like standing at a shrine.
on loving first, and paying for it later
I loved you long before you knew, More deeply every day. I gave you more than I should have, And hoped that you would stay.
When others made a small mistake, You stood there by their side. But when the hurt was coming from you, You asked me just to hide.
I said "it's fine" a thousand times, Though every word was wrong. I kept forgiving what you did, Just so you'd stay along.
I watched you smile for others, With kindness in your eyes. The same kind smile I begged to see, But never once got mine.
on lies you believed, and the self you lost in them
Perhaps, I've lost myself In labyrinth of your lies. Tears don't obey me anymore, They too have left my eyes.
Perhaps, I've lost myself Among faces your eyes trade. Disloyal eyes still cling to Memories that wouldn't fade.
Perhaps, I've lost myself In contact list of your phone. I wasn't blinded by disease But by the light you shone.
Perhaps, I've lost myself In backyard of your life. I don't know what you felt. But I gave this love my life.
on worshipping warmth, and dying in it anyway
The dullness of the light And silence of the night. I swivel around you, While you shine too bright.
This warmth is life, I assume Warmth is all, I consume While you watch me burn, You reign in this doom.
With ticking of the clock Closer to death's door, I knock. Warmth still dear to me I continue on to gawk.
Drowning in ocean of light Refusing to put on a fight. I bow down to your tactics Dying in this silent dim light.
on regret arriving just before it's too late to matter
Maybe this is the last Of us together, And we'll meet again Next to never.
Maybe we'll walk Different ways, And never talk For countless days.
Maybe we'll move Much too far, And see each other only Among the stars.
Maybe I was Out of my mind, And should have been A little more kind.

Of all the Things about her. Beguiling smile is All that I remember.
Of all the Faces I've seen. Hers was the most Relevant in my dreams.
Of all the needs I sought. Her love was the Best I ever got.
Of all the Sounds I hear. Her voice felt Most soulful & clear.
